Inside The Business
I am Alec Tucker, a seasoned photographer with nearly a decade of experience, specializing in real estate and architectural photography. Born and raised in Eugene, I have had the privilege of working closely with architects, contractors, builders, property managers, and real estate agents throughout the valley, capturing spaces with precision and artistry.
Through Alec Tucker Photography, I provide high-quality images that showcase the unique character of homes, offices, and large-scale developments across Eugene, Springfield, and Lane County. I have photographed hundreds of properties, from single-family homes to commercial projects, delivering visually compelling imagery that enhances marketing efforts and strengthens brand presence. Beyond photography, I offer a full suite of real estate media services, including video, drone photography, 3D Matterport tours, and floor plans—ensuring every listing and project is presented at its best.
While my primary focus is architectural and real estate photography, my background in landscape photography has shaped my approach to composition and lighting. This passion has led to my work being published, featured in exhibits, and made available as fine art prints. Though my career is now centered on real estate media and architecture photography, I continue to sell prints and explore the beauty of natural spaces whenever I can.
How I Became a Photographer
Nearly a decade ago, during my teenage years, I embarked on a journey into the realm of photography. Transitioning to online learning in my junior year of high school, I discovered my passion for photography through an online course. This unexpected shift proved to be a defining moment that altered the course of my life.
From the moment I immersed myself in my first photography class, I was hooked. Within weeks, I decided to invest in my own camera, and from that pivotal moment onward, my passion for photography was ignited and has continued to thrive ever since.
