Inside The Business
I am Alec Tucker, a seasoned photographer with nearly a decade of experience. Born and raised in Eugene, I have had the opportunity to immerse myself in the brilliant landscapes and vibrant community that inspire my work. As a five-time exhibitor and published photographer, I specialize in both landscape and real estate / architecture photography. My journey began with landscapes, and over the years, I have expanded into real estate photography, discovering a deep appreciation for capturing spaces of all sizes.
Within Alec Tucker Photography, I operate two distinct brands. The first focuses on my full-time work in real estate photography, serving the vibrant communities of Eugene, Springfield, and Lane County. I have photographed hundreds of homes and properties, working closely with esteemed architects, contractors, builders, property managers, and real estate agents throughout the valley. My goal is to deliver superb-quality images that showcase each project's unique charm and appeal.
The second brand is dedicated to my passion for landscape photography, which I pursue every other moment I can. This brand allows me to explore and capture the beauty of nature, and my work is available as prints and has been featured in exhibits and publications. These two brands reflect the dual passions that drive my work—capturing the elegance of both man-made and natural spaces.
How I Became a Photographer
Nearly a decade ago, during my teenage years, I embarked on a journey into the realm of photography. Transitioning to online learning in my junior year of high school, I discovered my passion for photography through an online course. This unexpected shift proved to be a defining moment that altered the course of my life.
From the moment I immersed myself in my first photography class, I was hooked. Within weeks, I decided to invest in my own camera, and from that pivotal moment onward, my passion for photography was ignited and has continued to thrive ever since.
